The Weekend of Grace is held annually the second weekend in August. The event includes a Memorial Golf Tournament (Saturday) and the Walk of Grace (Sunday).
The first Walk of Grace was attended by approximately 350 people, and has grown in numbers every year, with more than 1,700 walkers register for the Walk of Grace 2015. Our anticipated attendance at this year's walk is 2,000.
The purpose of the walk is two-fold: To offer comfort and resources to survivors of suicide loss; and to provide education and awareness about suicide, and how everyone can be involved in reducing suicide in our community and state.
The Walk of Grace 2017 will be held at the Lions Park Amphitheatre on Sunday, August 13th, 2017, with registration beginning at 10:00 a.m., and the Walk beginning at 11:30 a.m.
The Walk of Grace includes a remembrance ceremony; and both individual walkers and teams are encouraged to make a ‘memory sign’ which be placed around the lake by the LCCC Women’s Soccer Club.

We hope you will join us for this powerful, moving and incredibly awesome day – to learn, to teach, to support, and offer hope for those who are struggling, and to provide comfort for those who have lost a loved one to suicide.
